Mexican authorities announced Monday the capture of one of the barons of the country most wanted drug, born to Edgar Valdez Villarreal States, aka 'Barbie'. Valdez, 37, was a lieutenant Arturo Beltran Leyva Keys, who ran the cartel that bears his name and was the third man wanted in Mexico until December 2009 deaths in a military operation. As team leader of Beltran Leyva was the murder of Valdez is suspected of being involved in a struggle for power instead of Arturo, who competes with his brother, Hector Beltran Leyva. The arrest, which is a big blow to the government center in a spiral of drug abuse, has been confirmed by the Attorney General's office, interior and public security departments and even the Mexican President Felipe Calderon on twitter.
