The son and daughter-in-law of a Deputy Commissioner of Police (ACP), allegedly committed suicide at his home in suburban Malad here, police said Friday.
"The young couple - Abhijit (27) and wife Ashwini (21) - were found dead in his home Friday morning. Abhijit, son of Madhusudan ACP Kurn, used the revolver from his father committed suicide" additional police commissioner, Ramrao Pawar said.
Preliminary research suggests that there may be Abhijit killed his wife before taking the extreme measure itself, said Pawar.
The cause of suicide is not yet clear, he said. Their bodies were transported to nearby hospital for autopsy.
