Tamil Nadu unit of Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) president M Khader Mohideen, MP, today claimed that the DMK-led Democratic Progressive Alliance (DPA) would win all the 40 seats in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the May 13 Lok Sabha elections.
Talking to reporters here, he said people were aware of the achievements of the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre and DMK Government in the state.
Claiming that after the present elections to the 15th Lok Sabha, the Congress-led UPA would win at least 300 seats and form a stable government at the Centre, Mr Mohideen said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should once again lead the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre for development of the country.
He said the IUML wanted Dr Singh to become the prime minister of the country once again.During the five-year rule of the UPA, Dr Singh had not only led India on the path of development but also created history with the country's economy remaining stable inspite of the global recession, he said.
Ruling out the chances of BJP leader L K Advani becoming the prime minister, Mr Mohideen claimed that not even one per cent of the people of the state wanted Mr Advani to become prime minister.
